Brand / Package Switching

Data Ventures’ Brand Switching application allows clients to quantify the total effect and impact of promotions and pricing on competitors’ products during promotion event periods.

The analysis answers two primary questions:   
 1) at what price discount level does this promotion take
   sales away from other supplier’s products; and 2) at what discount level does my brand begin to be negatively impacted by competitors?  

Alternatively, Data Ventures’ Package Switching solution provides the ability for clients to quantify the impact of their own product cannibalization during promotional events, highlighting which discount levels promotions shift sales from other packages within the same supplier product portfolio. 

Both of these analytic solutions can help guide and craft a strong offensive and defensive positioning for the right products at the right promotional levels.
